2012 LENT COURSE: “Are we washing our hands of Britain’s Poor?” Poverty is an issue that is very topical and so our Lent Course focuses on poverty in Britain today. The Course will run on Mondays in All Saints, North Baddesley, beginning Monday 27th Feb. It will be held twice - at 2pm and again at 7.45.

WOMENS WORLD DAY OF PRAYER - Friday 2nd March - All Saints Church NB - All very welcome to attend, men and women! This year the service has been written by the women of Malaysia. Tea/coffee will be served after the service.

OLD TYME MUSIC HALL- Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm in All Saints Church  starring the Daisybelles. Tickets are now on sale from Ann Cook (80410549)  Pam Morffew, Sally in the Church Office(80737617) or from the T cup cafe on a Thursday morning. The wearing of costumes for this grand occasion is encouraged! All proceeds to the Building Fund.

ANDOVER FOOD BANK - Thank you to everyone in each parish for their support of the Andover Food Bank. To clarify: you can bring your contribution to any of our four churches, and it will then be taken down to All Saints NB. At the moment the bank is particularly asking for  Instant Mashed Potato, Tinned Spaghetti, Long life Fruit Juice, Long life Milk (500ml and 1 litre), Sugar (500g), Rice (500g and 1 kg). They much appreciate your generous support for work that is increasingly vital to families and individuals in the Borough. 

ALL AGE EASTER ACTIVITY - St. Marks chapel woods Good Friday 6th April 3 - 4.30 pm There will be a meeting to discuss the activities for this afternoon on Tuesday 6th March at 8 pm in St. Marks Room. All very welcome to come along with ideas even if you are unable help on the day.

EASTER ACTIVITY EVENT for children - Wednesday 4th April 1pm -4pm All Saints NB - Theme is “Journey to the Cross” and children are invited to discover the complete Easter Story from Palm Sunday, The Last Supper, Good Friday to Easter Morning The closing act of worship will tie it all together. Plans are now under way and volunteers are coming forward to help on the day but I am still in need of two co-ordinators to take charge and work with others for two of the workshops; The Last Supper and Good Friday. If you would like to take on a role as a work shop co-ordinator please have a word with me as soon as possible. Why should the children have all the fun!!. DIGITAL SWITCHOVER - In March 2012 our television signal is switching to digital. For people not yet on digital there is a help scheme if they are over 75, disabled or on certain benefits - if you know someone in this category please check they have a leaflet and know what to do. Please also consider whether any of you friends and neighbours are likely to need help in switching to digital. The number of the Help Scheme is 0800 4085900. STAINED GLASS WINDOW Sunday March 18th  3pm  Unveiling of the new stained glass window at St Johns, in memory of Pat Minchington.  Because there will a lot of invited guests, admission will be by ticket only.  If you would like a ticket please contact Peter.
 
GARAGE AND GARDEN SALE – 12th May 2012 at All Saints Church. Lost for things to do now Christmas is over?  Why not plant a few seeds and have pleasure watching them grow ready for the 12th May.

FAIRTRADE - Tony is away this Sunday so there will be NO Fairtrade table at All Saints, it will be there on the 26th instead. Fairtrade fortnight starts 27th Feb please support in making a concious effort to buy items with their logo displayed on goods. A local event supporting fairtrade is a Fashion show to be held in Romsey Abbey on Tuesday 28th Feb 7pm - Tickets £6 from Tourist Information Centre and Oasis.
