ALL SAINTS PLANNING APPLICATION & PARKING - The planning application is going to have to be resubmitted due to an objection from the Parish Council and the Highways Dept. concerning parking and access. This is not an insurmountable problem and we hope to resubmit in the near future meeting the requirements. However, one issue which will not go away and is harming our case is parking in Church Close by church users. Despite several requests, some people are continuing to park in Church Close. Whilst it may be legal, it seriously aggravates our neighbours as there is limited space and room for access. Please, please do not park in Church Close at any time.

HAS ANYONE SEEN OUR ARK?" Every first 1st Wed of the month 7.30 pm for 7.45 pm at St Marks church rooms, a series of 8 sessions looking at the Old Testament. All welcome. Next one on Wednesday 1st October

JOHN THE BAPTIST - There will be a working party at St. John’s on Tuesday 9th September to work alongside Community Service Workers. External work e.g. hedges, shrubs, weeding etc. 0900 am until 1.00pm . Volunteers needed please.
SPONSORED RIDE & STRIDE/CLEAN AND TIDY In aid of historic churches and chapels – Saturday 13th September - No one has come forward for this sponsored event for St. Johns or All Saints church. However, the churches will be open to welcome riders/walkers who are visiting places of worship in the area. Whilst they are open, there are a few jobs that need to be done, a list is now in the porch of St. Johns and in All Saints Foyer. If you are able to help in anyway please put your name beside the job. There are two bike riders from St. Denys taking part in the event, please sponsor them...........Thank you

YOU ARE INVITED STAY to the baptism of Benjamin Lawrence, which takes place at 11am after the 9.30 service at All Saints Church today, with cake in the hall afterwards. St. Marks, Ampfield - Sunday 21st September. After the 11.00 am Family Service there will be a “bring and share” Harvest lunch at Ampfield Village Hall. All Saints and St. John the Baptist, North Baddesley – Sunday 28th September – The Harvest Supper will take place on Friday 3rd October at 7 pm. This year to be environmentally friendly and to help reduce our “carbon footprint” we are hoping to use locally grown fruit and vegetables to make soup and a selection of puddings.
